decision points

“I didn’t like it when people criticized me, and so you’re not going to see me out there chirping away (at Obama). And I want our president to succeed. I love our country.” – President George W. Bush

In the midst of his whirlwind book tour, our former President rose above the petty partisan bickering that’s infected Washington of late. Compared to Rush Limbaugh, who famously stated he hopes Obama fails, Bush showed himself to be a class act.

I have to give credit where credit is due.

Hard to find a righty that would say what W said these days. Good for him.

Yes, with this guy now in the White House trying to blame all his shortcoming on Bush, it is refreshing to see class coming from a statesman isn’t it.

Have you not been listening to Bush? He’s basically been on an “apology tour” of his own, freely admitting his plethora of errors and the sad state he left the country upon leaving office.

It is refreshing to see, but too bad it didn’t begin in 2004.
